Sundance at Buckeye in Greater Phoenix
Sundance in Buckeye is located on the rural fringe out in the west valley of the Greater Phoenix Real Estate area. It is within 30 minutes of the airport, 25 minutes from Downtown and 25 minutes from Westgate Entertainment DIstrict, home of the NFL Arizona Cardinals. Because of it’s proximity to the I-10 freeway, residents enjoy great access to valley amenities yet it has a rural setting with cotton and corn fields nearby.
For those that want to be close to shopping, dining and entertainment venues, yet want to be away from the hussle & bussle of the big city, this area offers a nice alternative at a more affordable price than areas closer in. Values would be more in line with other satellite communities such as Maricopa or San Tan Valley/Queen Creek but due to freeway proximity, the feeling of being more connected could be felt residing here.
The Sundance Town Center has all the basic conveniences including Walmart Supercenter, Fry’s Marketplace for groceries, Lowe’s, numerous dining choices, Walgreen’s Pharmacy, gas station and an urgent care medical center.
The Sundance Golf Club is in the heart of the subdivision and is open to the public at very reasonable rates with great White Tank Mountain views. There are at least 8 other golf courses within 15-20 minutes of this community to enjoy including Palm Valley, Wigwam Resort, Coldwater Springs, Estrella, The Falcon and The Raven in beautiful nearby Verrado at Buckeye.
Homes vary in size and styles ranging from the low 90s and up to the mid 200s ( at the time of this article). Much of Sundance is devoted to family homes but there is a pocket surrounding the golf course that is called Sundance Active Adult. Those that are 55+ can buy into this portion and enjoy the community pool and recreation center including a multitude of clubs and activities.
