Marley Park is a great family community in the NW valley of the Greater Phoenix Real Estate area in Surprise. The same developer that created DC Ranch & Silver Leaf in North Scottsdale, Power Ranch in Gilbert and Verrado in North Buckeye, also crafted this gem of a neighborhood. Lush green areas will impress you with it’s beauty and serenity.
Situated on 950 acres on what was formerly cotton fields and rose gardens, this gorgeous area has an abundance of parks, sidewalks, tree-lined streets and a variety of architectural home styles. Twelve individually themed parks are joined by an arbor walk. Heritage Park, being at the heart of the community, is 25 acres managed by the City Of Surprise for use by all residents of Surprise and features a 1600 seat amphitheater, lighted baseball fields and large grassy park land. Right next door is the community facilities which consists of the 6000 sq ft community center called the Heritage Club and the Pool House for swimming, splashing in 2 pools with a barbeque area and fireplace area for the exclusive use of Marley residents and guests.
There are several builders that have built and continue to build in Marley Park, a variety of styles starting in the mid $100s. There are homes with garages at the rear, homes with garages offset to the side, starter homes, mid-range homes, luxury homes and some upscale townhouse condos centrally located.
The Lavine Team also specializes in the sale of new homes so please check out our New Homes Search Website and ask us for detailed information on what’s available here and elsewhere throughout the valley.
The Marley Shopping Plaza is in the corner of the area and for many is walking distance or a short bicycle or golf cart ride away. There is a huge abundance of other shopping, dining, golf and entertainment just minutes away including Surprise Ball Park, home of the MLB Kansas City Royals and the Texas Rangers spring training in March every year. Westgate Entertainment District is only 20 minutes drive away which is the home of the NFL Arizona Cardinals, boutiques, movies, restaurants and a new 85+store Tanger Outlet Mall scheduled to open in November of 2012.
Loop 303 completion has expanded access from the I-10 north through Surprise into a 6 lane freeway that is free-flowing. This has improved the drive time from the airport to Surprise or to the north end through to the I-17 access to Sedona, Flagstaff & Grand Canyon. Commercial construction surrounding the new freeway is happening and will continue to contribute to great growth in this part of the valley.
